An Ocean Between Us were formed in 2008, as a melodic metalcore band, featuring dual vocals from female and
male frontmen. Their guitar assaults were quickly siezed upon after releasing their first EP, and so the band were
signed to a major record label.
Following this, the band released their debut full length, The Failings, in early 2012, moving their music on a lot
further, showing the band had grown leaps and bounds.
The bands music is similar to that of Atreyu, who were one of the major inspirations and influences.
