Akiko Hinagata was a Japanese idol pop singer. Starting her pop career in 1995 at the age of 17, she had a moderately
successful run, and many of her songs were produced by legendary electronic musician, Daisuke Asakura. She ended up retiring
from the pop scene in 1997, and went on to become a successful gravure idol and actress.
