8 Eyed Spy was a short lived underground experimental post-punk band from NYC that first formed in 1979. It consisted of
members from the iconic no wave acts James Chance and the Contortions and Teenage Jesus and the Jerks. After releasing only
one single and one EP, 8 Eyed Spy decided to disband in early 1981 following the death of bassist George Scott III.
