5150 Mentally Insane was a hip hop group from Detroit. First formed in 1995, they soon garnered a cult following around the area for their comedic elements, including featuring "guests" like Snoop Dogg, Kid Rock and Violent J, all of whom were actually stolen from other songs. 5150 Mentally Insane split in 2006 following the death of one of their members, Shuge.
