With Dead Hills, Wolf Eyes have crafted a haunting, albeit short (under 24 minutes), masterpiece of noise rock that pierces the listener to the very core. This band is not for everyone, but for the listener who can appreciate what Wolf Eyes are striving for, this is some of their best work. For best results listen to this alone, in a dark forest from start to finish. This disc is not meant for recreational use, it is meant to evoke a truly horrifying, trance-like, luminous experience. Listen at your own risk.
