Best Desaster album I've heard so far. Much more black metal and epic than their later releases, but it definitely works here. Hell, I even find this pretty catchy, although not cheesy pop catchy. Fans of the band and second-wave black metal should definitely give A Touch of Medieval Darkness a try, especially the first three songs Skyline in Flames (Intro), In a Winter Battle, the title track and the epic Crypts of Dracul. Despite being quite lengthy, 51 minutes, it never gets boring.
