I really don't care how many breakdowns are in this album, how annoying the singer is or how much the screamer sounds like a more raw Jeremy McKinnon, Fit For A King delivers. There is not a single downfall in energy here, the few "slower" parts don't drag it down in anyway, but just give you a second to breathe before the next explosion of sound. Maybe a breakdown here and there could have been executed differently, and the singer shouldn't belong here at all, but this is a pretty crushing little metalcore album. I liked it so much more than I should have.

Ancient Waters goes hard, but then those clean vocals come in and ruin the song. Ryan is an amazing vocalist and he isn't in need on accompaniment with cleans. The cleans drag this album down. Other than that, it's a solid listen.
