Sounds like something that could have been released in the early 1980's, but that is more of a compliment than anything. If you like old school doom metal, this is one album to check out. Great writing, though somewhat subdued in creativity at times. I am one who appreciates the minimalistic drumming. I was torn between a 3.5 and 4. It doesn't bring anything new, it just does the sound so well. I must say though, The Raven is the standout track - Absolutely fantastic.
