"Still Day Beneath the Sun" is a very special gem in the Opeth catalog. Released as a single back in 2002, the song showed us their softer, more melodic side, using it to very passionate effect. Also included was "Patterns in the Ivy II", a direct sequel to the keyboard-laden instrumental "Patterns in the Ivy". That song is also very good. The two songs would later be included on a second disc for special edition copies of "Blackwater Park".
