This five-track is definitely the best material that My Heart to Joy had to offer. Well, My Heart to Joy at the Same Tone. Upon first listen, some of the songs may seem out of place on the hardcore punk LP (I Think You Woke the Dead and Sirens). However, after a few more listens, everything begins to blend together in a good way. The vocal and lyrical work on this album is by far the best they offered, while the guitars are a little shifty, but not bad in the slightest. Bass is good. Drums are superb. Overall, just great.
