If you like twee married with noise, this album is one of the best. It's bittersweet, the instrumentation matches this sentiment, and it's brilliantly executed. "Please Lose Yourself in Me" and "The Things I Miss" stand out as some of MBV's best songs, but the rest are mediocre to good tracks - nothing that stands out.

MBV at their jangliest, and the jangle pop tracks are the ones working the best here; the noisy ones plagues by a not-so-good production. It's also their lengthiest EP yet, and since the songwriting isn't top-notch, its deficiencies are quite obvious.
