There's a lot to be said about Tech N9ne's career. He's the number one independent rapper in the world, and literally worked his way up from nothing to what he is now, one of the top rappers in history. Tech's newest album is fun, fast, and was straight up recorded for people to party to.
I'm a huge fan of Tech N9ne, I listen to new, old and everything in between. This album has a lot of strong songs, "Jumpin Jax", "KC Tea" and "Pow Wow" to name a couple. Tech has decided to liven things up a bit after his previous record "KOD", and has focused more on having a good time on this record. Which I could understand, considering the fact that KOD was pretty depressing (although very good).
The record also features plenty of Feat. Artists, which is kind of a downside for me because I almost feel like I'm not hearing Tech as much as I should on this record. The only other downside is that none of these songs stand out from anything he's done previously. This is a solid album, but I don't think T9 fans will look back on this CD to define him.
