Going into this with Ali's soundoff in mind it's quite clear to see where he's coming from.
I would almost agree that the tracks don't go anywhere, but this group has seemed like a
more sprawling ambient/atmospheric group to me and this album helps further that notion.
Some stellar atmosphere and not-quite-relaxed yet downtempo moments await within
Mechanical Serpent, if you're in the mood for it.

Absolutely no substance whatsoever in this dark electro/psytrance release from The Synthetic Dream Foundation, despite hearing good things about them. Each of the nine songs goes absolutely nowhere; in other words, I listened to each track almost at the edge of my seat, waiting for some climax or bridge to erupt and take my breath away. Unfortunately, no song delivered my request; each was just filled with meaningless beats and vocals that did nothing.
