2.5 average | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | May 7th 24 | Bodega keep at it with their satirical songs observing inherent dark comedy of modern life in overabundance of choice and simultaneous lack of accessibility. That said, their music is stifled by the end of the first third, where the energy just drops and barely ever picks up again the whole runtime. Somehow they seem to have adopted the themes of disengagement they sing of onto themselves and become quite jaded and disinterested with their own creation.
