Boris recorded, mixed, and mastered this new album in 2009 and then shelved it. most of the songs on here wound up re-recorded either for the Japanese Heavy Rock Hits singles or for part of the 2011 trilogy. eventually they released the album as New Album 2009 on Bandcamp. it sounds like what you would expect them to sound like in between Smile and New Album. highlights are right at the start with 8 and Luna but the whole thing is solid. Michio Kurihara shows up to rip on two tracks: Leak and Missing Pieces. they could have definitely released this. album's tight
