2.0 poor | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | December 28th 23 | World's End Girlfriend is blindly convinced he's created something breathtaking here. This really dips its toes into the grandiose, yet swims laps in the obnoxious. All layered in the most pretentious lack of judgement seen on tape, forcing any and all point or artistic idea to be lost in the mix. But credit where it's due, I doubt I can really pick out any other album that quite sounds like this. So well done then on pulling through with genuinely new "s o m e t h i n g". Sorry about the resistance, cognrats on the blessing or whatever, man.

4.5 superb | ajcollins15 | September 21st 23 | It?s very rare for a nearly 2 and a half hour album to be as captivating and intense of a listen. Well, this new album from a Japanese-based composer and producer creates a challenging yet enchanting album from front to back that ebbs and flows through various forms of neoclassical, post-rock, sound collage, and breakcore. It?s hard to fully digest this album in one listen and in many ways, this album is crafted to be digestible in multiple sittings. However, even then this record is a perfect thing to put on when you want a theatrical and enchanting album to listen to. My biggest highlight comes at the end in which they manipulate the classic Ave Maria song into a haunting and chilling sound collage piece that is hard to top. Overall it?s a challenging listen and could turn a lot of people away, however, there is a lot of greatness here that people deserve to experience.
