Review Summary: You are a pumpkin

This is the story of my life. First Pumpkins: Once upon a time, in a suburban town Chicago, a group of misfits formed a band called the Smashing Pumpkins. They were led by a brooding and intense frontman named Billy, who had a dream. His dream was making it big in the music industry. The band quickly gained a following with their unique blend of grunge rock and alternative sadness, and soon they were playing to packed crowds at local clubs. Billy's fierce ambition drove them to record their first album, and they were quickly signed to a major label. The Smashing Pumpkins became one of the biggest bands of the 90s, with hit songs and sold-out tours around the world. But success took its toll on the band, and tensions between Billy and his bandmates grew and grew. The band began to splinter, and soon they were on the brink of collapse.

As the band fell apart, Billy struggled with his own personal demons, and his behavior became increasingly erratic. He found solace in his music, pouring his heart and soul into his songs, but alas it wasn't enough to save the band. The Smashing Pumpkins were no more, and Billy was left alone with his memories and regrets. But he knew that the music he had created would live on, a testament to the passion and drive that had fueled his rise to fame, and his ultimate downfall.

Second Pumpkins: After years of bitter feuding and failed solo projects, the members of the Smashing Pumpkins begin to feel the pull of nostalgia and the possibility of reuniting. However, their egos and past betrayals threaten to derail their efforts. Lead singer Billy Corgan, still bitter over the band's breakup and his perceived mistreatment by the music industry, is initially resistant to the idea of a reunion. But with the encouragement of drummer Jimmy Chamberlin and the promise of a massive payday, he begrudgingly agrees. Chamberlin quits.

More second Pumpkins: Chamberlin comes back. James Iha the first guitarist comes back. Albums. More albums. ATUM. The world is not enough for Corgan - what has happened to his story? There is a new story: ATUM. He is the main character. The story follows a group of characters in a distant future where the world has descended into chaos and unhappiness. Shiny, a musician who is Billy Corgan who is bald, has been exiled into a spaceship prison and June, a wealthy fan, follows him into exile. As Shiny approaches the March of Life [reference missing], June sends a coded message to Earth, alerting a group of hackers who discover Shiny's music and a secret about his exile. June sends them coordinates to find the truth, which leads to a dangerous encounter with the government. The hackers discover a hard drive that fuses Shiny's "Pure Essence Personality" with an AI robot named Ruby. Together, they embark on a journey to discover the truth behind Shiny's exile and his importance to society. Along the way, they encounter challenges, discover hidden secrets, and ultimately find redemption. This happens over the course of three albums. They were produced on a Digital Audio Wavestaton. While I cannot provide a direct review of Corgan's DAW skills, his successful track record in music production suggests that he is highly skilled in this area. It remains to be seen whether the rock opera will ever regain its popularity and relevance in the music industry. While some tracks display a return to their classic sound, the majority of their music is experimental and divisive. Overall, the Smashing Pumpkins' recent output may not please all longtime fans, but it shows the band's willingness to push boundaries and explore new sonic territories. "New sonic territories" can refer to new or innovative styles, sounds, and techniques that an artist or group uses to create their music. It could involve experimenting with different instruments, production techniques, or song structures. It could also involve incorporating elements from different genres or cultures into their music, creating a unique fusion that hasn't been heard before. Essentially, it's about stretching boundaries and invating new creational possibilities within the domain of music. No-one will ever listen to this album. It's fine.

It's genuinely amazing how far Corgan is slipping. How do you go from Siamese Dream to this? Mindblowing honestly

^ Completely agreed, this is honestly kinda embarrassing. And what's funny is that their social media is littered with disappointed fans who are calling Billy out for these recent albums... it's nice to see an artist's page not being overrun with blind supporters for once

I actually had no idea SP had been consistently putting out new releases for the last decade. Agree 100% how mindblowing Corgan's fall from grace has been. Remember when Zeitgeist was the new bad album? This makes that look amazing. Genuinely think Corgan has some sort of extreme mental illness, the guy is gd delusional.

I gave up after Adore but bought Oceania impulsively and liked it for about two weeks then gave up again.
I have no doubt this is absolute dross.

Siamese Dream will forever be one of the greatest albums of all time though.
