The lyrics are sort of vapid and the songs are incredibly short but glimpses of the old M.I.A. still shine through with the soundscape and production. Unfortunately I'm unable to formulate thoughts past that, the music kinda comes and goes. It's interesting nonetheless, she's just definitely not at peak performance anymore.

Agreeing with Brendan here. MIA in general has her occasional good bars and the rest rides on the worldly celebratory instrumentation, which, thank God, is back after having ghosted AIM. Check FIASOM PT II, Marigold, K.T.P

People complaining about the lyrics makes me think they never listened to her last few albums and appreciated them. This is like a mix of MAYA and Arular.
