Boring as fuck. Just random jamming for 30 mins straight. New King Gizz sucks. I know I'm an outlier here, but their longer compositions lack direction and focus.

Laminated Denim is King Gizz at their jammiest, and while these tunes are not what you could call "focused", they do be jamming with kraut and space rock influences, and showcase what the band sounds like live.

"The land before timeland" overstays its welcome. "Hypertension" rules. Overall, it's a fun album, but not their best. On to the next one, I guess.

I don't know if its me or if its this sound they have hung around but I like this band more and more each album. I think their non-prog side doesn't hit me all that hard but their extended tunes really grab me. The Dripping Tap is a favorite of year and these two tunes are in a similar vein
