Review Summary: Suis la Lune's more pissed off and immature cousin.
It's weird to refer to a screamo album as an easy listen, but that's exactly how
Open Up Finders, Please could be described. Age Sixteen's brand of hauntingly beautiful, yet melancholy clean toned guitar lines coupled with the vocalist's high pitched, aggressive delivery results in an unusually soothing and laid back vibe. Age Sixteen have a very frantic, unpolished, and borderline underdeveloped sound that doesn't look all that appealing on paper, but
Open Up Finders, Please has enough tranquil guitar parts and emotionally draining vocal sections to give it an undeniable charm.
Open Up Finders, Please does not have all that many stand out moments, nor does it doing anything new for the genre, but it's satisfying enough, and short enough to make for an enjoyable listen.
