This is pure, raw, unadulterated doom. To me, this sounds like it is of the tolling effigy beladen to the funeral doom type but I've been told before that I am mistaken for what I consider funeral doom versus what is funeral doom. Be that as it may, you have all the paces of a plodding dirge laid out on the page before you, with 5-10 seconds of pause minimum between when stick hits crash and and stick hits snare, and that's when you're moving. Now here's the thing, doom/funeral doom isn't much my thing because it's hard to pick out nuances amongst these acts so when it comes to quality, is it great because of how standard it is as it sticks to genre? Or how exceptionally engrossing it is regardless whether you have heard it before? What is good if you have heard it expressed in the same manner and fashion whether it be 5, 10, or 100 times already before? For me, it's the conglomeration of these two acts, and for that I award it to thee- A Perfect Score.
