2.5 average | Gmudds | February 26th 23 | While at times dynamic, beautiful and profoundly emotional, as in Lost Woman Found, or Esuna, Kick iiii is the weaker link in
the Kick tetralogy. Moments of genius clash with moments which underwhelm - as in Witch, or Hija. Meanwhile, Boquifloja
lacks any attention-grabbing progression despite the appeal of Arca's slightly grungy detour. The album has a cohesive
sound; its' atmosphere feels unsettling and dystopian, but it feels like her most under explored and perhaps least
innovative project to date.

3.4 great | Erwann S. STAFF | December 19th 21 | This one's ain't for the dancefloor. Much more rooted in melancholy than its predecessors, kick iiii also demonstrates more heart than Arca's reggaetronica thanks to its focus on ambient pop as well as some witch house elements. It's meandering and kinda loose, sure, but its textures and soft melodies make it the most captivating kick album.

4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | December 9th 21 | For whatever reason, this fourth ?kick? album is actually sitting with me better than any of the others. Something about the exploration of nuanced electronic genres makes this a formidable listen for anyone looking for a different Arca album.
