4.5 superb | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | October 12th 21 | Despite the album somewhat dwindling in the second half, not always confident in the stylistic shifts it chooses ("Leving Song" feels mostly like an error in the tracklist), this is by far one of the most exciting and imaginative full album debuts this album.

4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | August 19th 21 | Although out of all the UK post-punk debuts that have been released this year, and this being the worst, this is by no means a bad album; this is actually a superb album. However, the biggest complaint I have with this release is that although the sound and style are extremely unique and clever, it could use the most work. Some of the tracks on here are truly amazing and hit extremely hard and the jazz-rock influence really hits heavy on the album. Also, the huge King Krule influence (great feature too) makes it that much better, and I hope they continue to explore this dark sound. Would be cool to see them do a bit of baroque pop since they are hitting that cabernet vibe pretty hard. But still a really amazing listen and probably some of the darkest lyrics from all the releases in this style thus far could be a grower when it?s all said and done.
