4.0 excellent | Sputnikmusic excommunicado | September 13th 22 | "Dies Irae marks the point when Skold truly matured. Playful rock n' roll songs only stab you with provocation this time. He also fully embraced his gothic punk aura showcasing the same anarhistic aplomb. It all led to this drum-tight album unreveling texts with symbolic fatalism, horror'esque post-effects & unpedictable synths which are flirting with his most serious, at times even heavy metal type of rock strengtened up by very skillful guitar solos. The song-writting is front to back strong." - "stolen" from my bandcamp.
