I have a bad habit of bein too optimistic n givin out 4.5s n 5s a little too numerous a fashion, but this is a legit FIVE (edit: legit 4.5 - hindsight foul lol) - (The) Crown fans, not to hype it... but get ready for this brutal epic which hit me out of nowhere - I thought Cobra Speed Venom was a return to form - tbh, this may be better than 'just' a return to form
Edit: Cobra Speed Venom is probably just as mighty an album as this here - this one's just slightly more up my alley in its approach... plus a little dose of epic/drama on "We Drift On" (not to be viewed at as a follow-up to the much-maligned but still decent Watain song "They Rode On" xD)

It's kind of all... the same we've heard before and with other bands too and will hear and it kind of all brings nothing new, but at least it has riffs and the production and whatnot.

This is a fun listen. Didn't even realise these guys were still about, so nice surprise to hear them still sounding strong. I checked out after 'Crowned in Terror' as I was a bit of a Tomas Lindberg fan back in the day (Deathrace King was pretty great as well), but this has inspired me to check out everything else they done in that time. As for the album - great thrash-death with a few melodeath flourishes here and here. Pretty relentless throughout.

This is still pretty good, but whoever's saying it beats Cobra Speed Venom is wrong XD I'm talking about the hooks and the difference between tracks, and the somewhat more organic production. But again I'm not a classic melodeath person, I'm just looking for fun.
