That my friend is a fine example of pure Rock And Roll. Its dumb, sexy, and loud. Everything you could want in a song. The Mooney Suzuki is probably the most fun rock band I have ever heard. Every song is so catchy and fun and impossible to resist. You know that Suzuki commercial with that highly infectious and fun song? That’s The Mooney Suzuki in all their dumb fun glory.

This album really is what Rock 'N Roll is all about. It also showcases the most important thing in straight up rock. The guitar player. The guitarist sets every song on fire with his solos. He has the greatest urge to play a solo in every song, and he does it damn well. He really revives the dead songs on this album (which there aren't many at all) with his playing. Not only do they showcase the guitar, they also keep the sexiness in Rock. With song titles like: Shake That Bush Again, New York Girls, Naked Lady, Loose N Juicy, Hot Sugar, and the conversation opening this review thanks to Messin In The Dressin Room this album is hot.

This album also feels like it was recorded by musicians just playing music and not reciting it. The songs are so alive and sound so raw. The distortion is embraced and the drums are as loud as possible. The songs never evolve past the simple, verse, chorus, verse, solo, chorus, solo, but they are good nonetheless. This band as mentioned before, are extremely good with the fun stuff but the two acoustic milder songs, Naked Lady and Sometimes Somethin, aren't as good. Naked Lady is actually a very good song but not exactly up to par with the rest of the album, hell its still pretty wild and has a guitar solo, and a Legal High reprise. Sometimes Somethin is the only bad track on the album. It sounds so dull and not like what the band is used to doing. Like its big brother album Electric Sweat, the acoustic songs don't hold up to par with the others. If you ever want to download something from these guys, make it one of the electric ones.

The title track really represents this album well. It’s loud, fun, and has great guitar licks and solos. This is the type of music that makes you want to smile and jam out. The Mooney Suzuki brings back the good ol' rock and roll and makes it alive and amplified.

I’m gonna blow my speakers and my mind”
“It kinda feels like a legal high”

Short and effective, another good review.

I used to love this band a few years ago, you convinced me to go give them another listen.

Which of their songs was featured on Madden and is also on one of the Suzuki car commercials shown on TV in America? That's one of their songs I dig.

Title track and I know on the burnout 3 soundtrack shake that bush again was on there.

Cool review for a band I don't know. By the way, Antihero, is that your dog? I was just wondering because all of my pics are of my own dogs.

I always thought the title track was like Trapt or something...never heard the full song, just the chorus in the background of mid 2000's action movie trailers and NFL game previews.
