Definitely the best thing she's ever made (although the bar isn't that high). The 80's sound really works well for her, but there are definitely some duds to be found here too. It feels like she's pandering a little too hard to the 80's crowd by having features from Billy Idol and Joan Jett, and some of the slower songs miss the mark, but the highlights are VERY good.

By FAR the best Miley Cyrus album. The rock sound suits her voice the best. She also does well on certain country where her rootsy timbre can show. Maybe that kind of album is next.

This would be a 4 without Angels Like You and High. Would have been cool if those two were replaced with proper studio recordings of Zombie and Heart of Glass imo.

It's a lot of fun, and only a couple tracks in, Miley has come a long way since Bangerz and Dead Petz....

Miley's 2020 album includes an excellent 80's throwback feel. Some of the influence appears too much on the nose - - but that doesn't take away from the fact that this somehow bops way more than it should.

Honestly, I could go on and on about how un-original and short-lived this album is. The amount of influences she is wearing on her sleeves isn?t even funny. However, for Miley and who she is as a current artist, this album is miles ahead of anything she has produced. This is the sound that her vocals have desperately needed to be over and it is great to see her do something that she wants to do and feels so comfortable in. I really hope that she continues to explore this sound into the future because I really believe that there is something here for her to do better in the future.

A bit of overproduction and a few out of place songs, but still a fun record with amazing features. 3.3/5 Favs: WTF Do I Know, Plastic Hearts, Prisoner, Gimme What I Want, Night Crawling, Midnight Sky, Bad Karma, Never Be Me
