4.5 superb | ajcollins15 | August 12th 20 | Just like with Aminé?s release above, Tkay Maidza (aka Takudzwa) bring through with a mind-blowingly progressive pop-rap album with so much charm and diversity that it makes you think what happened between this and her last EP/LP in 2018. Track after track for 26 minutes you will be shown the absolute diversity, she has with her voice that sometimes it even feels like she is her own feature. The only downside is I really do wish there were more here, but what is here is truly breathtaking and will leave any hip-hop fan thinking about what is next. A truly great album from front to back that all people should hear this.

4.5 superb | TheGreatEscaper | December 21st 21 | If Last Year Was Weird Vol.3 was smooth as butter, this one is crunchy peanut butter. And I mean that in a good way, because I like crunchy peanut butter. Still dizzyingly skilled at taking a listener from A to B, this central instalment to the LYWW trilogy drops any semblance of chill and goes HARD on the killer track run of 24k, Shook, Awake, and Grasshopper, with some evil production. Every hook lands perfectly, and the comedown to the more relaxed last three tracks allows Tkay's effortless charm come into the spotlight.
