3.3 great | manosg EMERITUS | June 27th 20 | Even though I knew Falconer by name, it took me almost 20 years to check one of their albums, and as it turns out, this is their swansong as they're disbanding. These guys know how to write catchy tunes with memorable melodies, as they blend seamlessly folk with power metal. What felt odd at the beginning, was the vocalist's relaxed approach which is quite unusual for this style of music, but it definitely gives a certain character to the band. All in all, a very enjoyable effort.

3.0 good | Elynna | July 1st 20 | I have my fingers crossed for a Mithotyn reunion. This is still a pleasant listen.

3.5 great | Chamora | July 3rd 20 | I love the balance of folk and symphonic. It feels themed, but never expository or clunky. Occasionally has some catchy moment. Overall, I was really pleased with this one relative to similar artists. Also RIP Falconer, I guess.
