Solid chunk of goofy, lighthearted power metal. Lot's of fun, but prepare for some serious cheese.

Such a fun album that can't help but put a smile on your face. It's super silly at times
and doesn't take itself seriously. Theft of the Hammer is a story about Thor who gets his
hammer stolen and dresses up as a woman to get it back. Ridiculous and amazing.
Powersnake has to be my favourite track with Ylva Eriksson's vocals sending chills down
my spine with every listen. Definitely one of the best female vocalists in metal today.
Love this band, their 2nd album didn't disappoint in the slightest.

This record is just so much fun. Absolutely masterful melodic writing, solid orchestration, good song structure, good balance of the vocalists. Things come across as super clear in the mix to me. Only concern is the lyrics can come across as cheesy and take me out of the experience from time to time.

A must-listen for fans of epic power metal. These guys' sound is close to that of Sabbaton while some melodies are reminiscent of Blackmore's Night. The subject matter revolves around Norse mythology, whereas the female vocals may bring to your mind Amy Lee. Only drawback for me is the male growls but they are not enough to seriously impact the overall experience. All in all, a great effort.
