Stephan Jenkins finally made that rap album he's been threatening for years. It's exactly as bad as you think it will be.

Stephan Jenkins is in an Identity Crisis.
The once young but introspective lyricist and lead singer of the band is now an old man and desperately trying to
stay relevant. Trading in guitar licks for beats, witty words for incessant cursing, and universal themes like love
for social justice anthems, Stephan Jenkins is a man who's lost without an Identity.
This record is a car wreck in slow motion, witnessing in real time an artist desperately grasping at straws to stay
relevant and seemingly out of ideas now that he's alienated every single band member of relevance who was a
part of their glory days.

Strange nobody has reviewed this, considering 3EB is a pretty popular and damn good band (though this one isn?t that good).

I generally agree with JWT155's comment. Third Eye Blind (and more particularly its leader Stephan Jenkins) tried to make music on Screamer for young teenagers (whom they no longer do), already well overtaken by time, when he was 55 years old. Damn, it's the father who shames his kids when he drops them off at school, a few steps away so the other kids don't see them. Moreover, it's too generic to hope to save something here, it's very easy to become which path each track will take and also to anticipate (big) mistakes. Not to mention that there are totally horrible tracks, 2x Tigers, Who Am I, Got So blind...
