More inconsistent than Chaos and Creation in the Backyard, but the highs are absolutely stunning. Paul's experiencing a creative comeback like few others.

While I remain a huge fan of both "Chaos and Creation" as well as "Memory Almost Full", "Electric Arguments" has a
more experimental and atmospheric sound that makes for a much more intriguing listen. The album also is
surprisingly varied with hard rockers to much slower paced songs like "Two Magpies." Highlights include "Not Too
Much Just Out of Sight", "Sign the Changes", and "Sun is Shining". The echoing layers of sound and guitars that mark
this album and make it one of the best I've heard in the last couple years. Unfortunately the album goes a bit awry
during the last 3 tracks. They are most meandering trips into instrumental weirdness that are not bad but don't
seem to fit with the first 10 tracks which are all excellent. I would consider Electric Arguments a classic but I cannot
ignore the closing fifth of the album, so for me it's a solid 4.5.

this is probably the best thing McCartney has done in a long time...This and Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard will go down as some of his best works.
I like that he took some chances musically...threw in some ambience, went back to rocking out - Helter Skelter style. The result is an album that is very diverse yet still holds true to McCartney's simplistic lyrics.
Normally, his "June with a spoon" rhyming style can be tedious (see everything he did in the 80's and 90's) and uncomfortable to listen to... Lately - while he didn't do as great on Memory Almost Full - he seems to have found a perfect medium. The music has to compliment his silly rhymes. Well done Macca!

Great stuff. Some of the best psychpop tracks in decades. Beatles, Wings and trancy electronic tunes like on the last Fireman albums, all here.

A fun listen so far. The first song on the album "Nothing to much is out of sight" is amazing a bit like "Helter Skelter". I also love the sounds and vocals on "Travelling light". Will listen to the album a few times more before my final rating.
