Huge fan of the band, but this is by far their worst album. Running out of ideas. Live shows are still amazing fun.

I disagree with the general consensus. I think this is a great improvement over Lower the Bar. They are definitely running out of ideas in terms of lyrics, there's no genuine belly laughs to be found here like in some older classics (Gangbang at the old folks home/Fat girl etc), but it's still amusing to hear Starr sing horribly puerile lyrics with such skill and conviction. At the end of the day they can write a damn fine tune any day of the week, but really where else are they gonna go now? If they weren't a comedy band they could explore other types of music but they can't really do that cause they've pigeon-holed themselves with the whole concept of the band. I'd love to see them reinvent themselves somehow but I can't see any way of them doing it.

What BigHans said, unfortunately... The interesting thing about glam rock/metal was that it was eradicated overnight in the early '90s, but with Steel Panther we get to see a more gradual downhill course for the band, that commenced since the peak that is All You Can Eat...

I agree with Terriblekonrad, this singer is so disgusting that it intoxicates his music. Thinking that they could dictate the rules of a musical style, which they denigrate by the poverty of their music, we thought we were attending a circus rather than a Metal performance. If lyrically you will have understood my opinion, musically there is nothing good here, and nothing new of course

I actually really like Steel Panther, but there is no way they put ANY effort into this one. Gods
of Pussy did give me a pretty solid laugh, though.
