Jim Ward's new side project Sleepercar doesn't try to be another At The Drive In nor does it even attempt to be a masterpiece, but what it does come out to do and succeeds fantasticly on is being a heartwrentching country tinged good time. Whether it's the catchy A Broken Promise or the lonely ballad "Fences Down" sincerity is always the driving force behind West Texas. It comes to dance with with you, somber you up then lead you on your way.
