3.5 great | GhandhiLion | April 16th 19 | Very early tribal ambient from a Jon Hassell
collaborator. First track, "Elephant Dance" is
a milestone that creates Gamelan music out of
tapes and early Riley esque electronics. Other
stand outs are
"Never Tech No Foreign Answer", "Eros Never
Stops Dreaming" and "Baby relphant Magic"
"Queen of Saba" and "23/8 for Conlon
Nancarrow" are poor though.
"Tamara Alexa Inter-Dimensional Travel Agent"
is pleasing, in the style of fourth world
pt 2.
Not just musical innovations here, the madman
created black metal album covers a decade
before it was cool.
