On Florida Guilt, Bay Faction strays away from the bassline heavy, bluesy emo niche they
carved out for themselves on their debut album. Despite that sound being extremely unique,
they consciously acknowledge the critiques of over consistency and try their hand at a blend
of indie rock and moody electro-pop. It's a solid release, sometimes a bit too bright
compared to their earlier work, but a pleasant ride through the genres at hand.
