3.5 great | MrFahrenheit | September 9th 18 | By the time of this albums release, Dr Hook had moved on from their origins as stoner hippies and had fully
embraced soft rock and disco as they attempted to move with the times. Certainly of its time and of little interest
to millenials, but if you recall the late 70?s and memories of a care free and simpler lifestyle then this is a great
album. Includes a couple of their biggest hits in “Sharing the Night Together” and “When You’re in Love with a
Beautiful Woman” and looking at it in 2018 is has a layer of 70’s sleaze over the whole thing, but when has that
ever been a bad thing. Probably not PC in todays environment where most people take offence at anything not
considered ‘woke’.
