Extremely inconsistent project. There's a great record buried in here somewhere, but there
are simply too many tracks of vastly disparate quality.

The boy can rap. The boy can sing. The boy is too "good boy" though. He rely too much on the oldschool beat though...awesome Wu Tang track though...YSIV relys too much on life's a bitch Nas track...varied quality work though Fave tracks - WU TANG FOREVER and 100 Miles and running

Coming from the previous two albums (Everybody and Bobby Tarantino II), I was surprised by how
this record sounds. The beats share similar qualities of the likes of "The Incredible True Story"
and "Under Pressure" and the flows are pretty nice too. Some tracks that were my favorites are
"Everybody Dies", "Wu Tang Forever", and "YSIV". With that said, several of the tracks feel like
they dragged a bit (With the exception of Wu Tang Forever and YSIV). The opening track "Thank You"
starts out with an interesting vibe but then shifts to a long string of messages from fans for
about 3.5 minutes. While that is a nice way of acknowledgment, it feels like a closing track
rather than the opener. Although I dig the narrative of the song "Legacy", and this may be a
personal thing, I think it should've ended at the end of the third verse. The skit that follows is
fine as it illustrates the previous verses, but it feels like it repeats the narrative again.
Finally, The last track "Last Call" feels like a nice genuine track that ties the bow on the
album, but it seems like Logic just rambles a bit near the end. I think that trimming some of the
songs down a bit would've been nice. Despite that, I think this album is alright. Worth checking
out.

Mixed ratings already? Clear articulation, oldschool beats, lyrics with a message, great
storytelling. What's not to like? Probably have to give it a few more runthroughs to talk about
quality.
