This album was jaw dropping for me. As a long time Mamaleek fan I initially loved them for the wrong reasons and while I considered them a band i liked, they did not come close to my top faves. However after hearing an interesting foray into trying new sounds heard in Via Dolorosa, I was suddenly curious about them moving forward. That album piqued my interest and was a regular listen for a while but still was lacking in some aspects I wish they could deliver on. Behold they commit to the new sound and unleash their best album to date. This massive sprawling soundtrack explores so many avenues that Mamaleek has touched on before whilst giving it the proper treatment of a unique sound and excellent production. This album single handedly solidified Mamaleek as a top 3 band for me literally overnight. Now ill admit it isnt perfect, and has some harder to digest sections and abrasivness at times, however for a Mamaleek album, I would consider this near perfection. Perhaps later on as they continue I may change my mind on this album and rating, but for now, this shall hold such a high place for me.
