Don't let the cover art fool you into thinking that Svartanatt are a Lynyrd Skynyrd rip-off because these guys are influenced by the likes of Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy with some hints from MC5, and might bring to your mind Graveyard. The guitar playing ows a lot to Ritchie Blackmore and the album is full of catchy songs and memorable melodies. Lastly, "Wolf Blues" is not only the bluesier track of the album but also one of the best rock tracks of this year.
