Doro is the actual true Queen of Metal and still such a great singer and live act and she deserves her props and her really good albums are must owns. Not sure what happened here but a somewhat lifeless sounding album.

Quite sadly, this album is borderline poor. It is safe to say that in her heyday, Doro wouldn't even consider being in the same room with the music included in this album, even for the sake of a preliminary hearing. The arrangements are blatantly makeshift, mere bridges to the respective choruses, and one can only begin to wonder how they made it into the album, or how the sound work is so unscrupulous. On another note, Doro's vocals sound markedly weary and lacking, with "Caruso" cover being a negative highlight. How this metal amazon has fallen...
