5.0 classic | Stephmusic1978 | February 21st 19 | These guys have a truly gift for composing a large variety of beautiful riffs, that not many bands manage to do these days

4.5 superb | lalchimiste | June 26th 18 | Vallendusk's use of major key/modes to create uplifting and epic BM is breathtaking. There are clear progressive leanings displayed on Fortress of Primal Grace (no noodles though!) in the some of time signatures and song structures so it definitely keeps things eclectic yet interesting which gives this record a high replay value. It seems these guys draw from a bottomless well of insanely good riffs and leads

4.0 excellent | marf1300 | June 14th 18 | This band is from Indonesia!? FoPG is packed with epic European folk melodies floating on top of a blackened base that sounds more like a northern woodland than a tropical rain forest. One of the songs even had pagan chanting. The progressive songwriting is also wonderfully executed. The songs ebb and flow with seamless transitions and tasteful variations in intensity. Finally, the raw production grants this album a bit of a youthful innocence and excitement.
