Review Summary: imagine watching the Great Pyramid being built in time lapse

Not long ago I was cruising out of town to visit some friends and it was roughly a 4 hour drive. I had some psilocybin in my system and it hit me hard about an hour after I left my town. I was in a state of bliss and as I left my town, I started to realize where I actually am and where I live, who these people are and why they do what they do here regarding farmers. Most of the time it was wide open country with fields, lakes and just open sky. It was refreshing, cleansing and therapeutic. The windows down, mid July and nothing but Kyuss playing on the stereo in my car. I couldn't dream of that experience but it happened and I appreciate it in terms of self discovery as well as getting to know the land where I live. About 2 hours into the drive it started to get dark, but the Sun was still an auburn ball of wisdom partially blocked by cirrus castellanus clouds, golden, red, shining faintly and burning, fixated on the Sun and its rays as they cascaded through the clouds. I was glaring at it and wanted to take a photo of this moment, when suddenly something scurried across the road. I swerved and ended up in the ditch and back on the highway coming to a stop. I must have skidded about 30 feet going 85mph. I got out to see if there was any damage and thankfully there was no damage. Before I got back into my car, I noticed something in the distance as the Sun was setting beneath the bed of those cirrus castellanus clouds. There was a small hill blocking my field of view of the building structure preventing me to see it all, but as I first glanced, it looked like a pyramid. The roof of this building was massive and in the middle of nowhere, no silos, no anything but it. In the middle of nowhere. But what exactly is nowhere? Where is nowhere? It's somewhere. I parked my car on the side of the road and watched the Sun set beside it for about an hour.

During that time my mind wandered off, no clue where I am at or where I am going anymore, just wanted to see the Sun set by this massive building in the distance. I started to think about how much work was put into the Pyramids and what the people involed went through during that time of development. The sky was their television, they worshipped more than we do today even with our technology. They wanted to create something as a whole so fantastic that it took over 2 million blocks of stone most of which were taken from 500 miles away. 500 miles. That's what I thought about the most because I was only traveling about 280 miles, in a vehicle but they have managed to create one of the most inspiring structures known to mankind. How many years did it take? How many lived and died in the process? I firmly believe they all believed in something so great that it helped them get it done regardless of consequence. They only had each other, no form of communication with any other humans worldwide as we do today. They wanted to create something so divine that everyone would notice it. Some say the tip of the Great Pyramid was solid gold, which is a conductor. A large lightening rod harnessing power within its domain from the waterwat canals beneath it from the Nile river before it slowly withered away in those thousands of years. A lush environment during the time of the building of the Great Pyramid is something to always ponder. What was once beautiful is now a landmark seen from space with the ability to maintain its strucure after all of these years. It is truly fascinating and it is the first thing I thought of when I first listened to this album.

I would give anything to see the Great Pyramid of Giza being built somehow, or just a little piece of that history explained in the process of creation. Mystery gives a sense of wonder, but then again I want to know how...or maybe not. Catch 22.

Sweet review, very visual. If this actually sounds Egyptian-y I'm going to like this a lot.
