Wombripper's first full-length installment is a pilgrimage to the Swedeath legacy of bands like Entombed and Grave, and to a lesser extent, Florida OSDM. Sound production is spot on (the cymbals' texture is sublime!) in sustaining the well-above-average musicianship of these Russians, as they shift from death/thrash metal pacing, to slow and deep grooves, some of them adorned with really good/melodic guitar soloing.
