I genuinely don't understand the disdain for this guy; His trap rap atmospheres conjure up the
same obscure mysticism that was floating over Norway in early 90's: his delivery is smooth, his
voice is different, and his flow is pretty great. Maybe I can't get over the distinct black metal-
ness of this, but I like it.

Ghostemane does trap metal: 808s and distortion, bars, and screams. While this aesthetic is an interesting one, Hexada isn't fully developed as most tracks are too short to expand their propositions properly. It mostly trades trap parts with metal parts without fully integrating the two sounds.

If Rob Zombie decided to start a career in trap rap, it'd sound just like this. Beats are definitely cool but his vox sound really bad on them, unfortunately. It's a really interesting concept and it's a logical progression from what the world got from Triple 6's Mystic Stylez album; trap rap with satanic themes and even black metal fonts on the album cover to boot. There's potential in here somewhere but I just can't see it coming from this guy because of how completely unpleasant his voice/flow is.
