This Cd is great in my opinion.
It never grew on me, i sort of just liked it when i listened to it.
For those of you that dislike Franz Ferdinand or The Bravery or the Killers, thats fine. This CD puts all those disco punk ripoffs to shame. Except Franz Ferdinand. Theyre alright.

So. Track by Track.

Track One. - Olio
The disc starts off with this trance like sound. Beeping bass and whatnot. It sort of confuses the listener because the rest of the CD isnt processed as this one is. At least, isnt AS processed. Whatever. This song is cool. I enjoyed it. Shows how the tapping of a cowbell can make a song ultrasuper. It drags on a bit. Overall I like it so
4/5

Track Two. - Heaven
Starts off with little chorus people, then blasts into guitar with some funky ass beats. Woohoo. Fun track, gets you into the Rapture mood. Its probably one of my favorites on the cd.
4.5/5

Track Three (3) three . - Open Up Your Heart
FOWOWAH. This song is wierd. Its like, slow, melodic, emptyness. Really I didnt like it very much when i heard it first. Its good when its played subconsciously, like, you know, when you're mowing the lawn or something. Its got a cool little melodic section at the end which will entertain those of you that like that sort of stuff. Its one of the album's weaker tracks. Oh well!
3/5

Track Four cuatro. - I Need Your Love
Nice hoppy litte disco like tune. Its good to do the horizontal tango to. Or just dance or whatnot. Its a good one i think. Its got blaring pads in the foreground carrying along a nice ditty. Its a good length, doesnt drag on too much. Good drumming, consistant. There are some cool wierd little sounds in the background carrying this one along. They use a saxaphone or something, and it sounds like a dying horse. But a GOOD dying horse.
4/5

Track 5five. - The Coming of Spring
This song BLASTS at you. Opens up with some really heavy distortion and screaming. Soon the singer comes in shouting some insults and whatever. Its so f'ing cool. The beat just keeps on going, and the guitaring is truly funky. This is, in my opinion, the standout track of this CD. Another heavily dancable song.
5/5

Track Seis6 - -- House of Jealous Lovers
AGH. This song is pretty good. It was their "famous" single. I didnt really like it at first, but later i found myself getting into the kicking bassline and funkyfresh drumming skillz. Yeah. You'll like it probably. It uses the Raptures sense of repetitive vocal skills and drumming and bass and stuff.
4/5

Track 7even - Echoes
This one opens up with some really cool guitar funk. Then the descending bassline rips it up. Great drumming, as in all the other songs. The singing is really funny actually. I dont know wtf they are talking about in any of these songs really, but it sounds good. It goes right along with the punkfunky music. This has one of my favorite moments in this album- at the end theres a really sweet freakout type thing. He starts shouting and it all goes psycho. Its good, for the kids. Another standout track.
5/5

Track 8 this is track eight --------> Killing
This is another potential hit for the rapture. It features cool funk guitaring, as in the other songs, but the beat is quite hip hop. The badunk dunk dunk dunk. As the kids call it. Yar. So all the hiphoppity folk can get into it. The singing sounds quite sarcastic and cool. This song just kicks so much ass it makes me psycho.
4.5/5

Track NIN- Sister savior
This one is VERY disco oriented. Its nuch more technolike. The singing is nice and mellow, along with the bass and such. Its a danceable song. Wait. What song on this cd isnt danceable. Who cares. Its good. Those of you that are more into the mellow, cool stuff, this is for you.
4/5

Track 10.- Love Is All
I dont know why, i just never really listen to this track. Its more straightfoward rockish sortof. It doesnt quite fit in with the rest of this CD. There is not a disco four step beat, but its cool. I like the song, i just found that it threw off the disc a bit. The singing is quite soulful. At the end it deteriorates into him singing, love is all, over and over. Its very pretty. Forget it. I like this song too.
4/5

Track 11eleven - Infatuation
Another slower song. Not very good at all. I wont lie. This song sounds way too drugged out for me. Hes singing the same stuff over and over. Its basically acoustic and very echoey. Another weak point in this actually quite good CD.
3/5

Overall I really enjoy this CD. Its actually quite innovative, what with its beat in killing, and funky punkfunk disco stylings. Maybe I'm wrong, but this CD is much better than any, Franz Ferdnand or, Killers or whatever.
So if you like to dance, or just like good music that will make you into a cool cat, then listen to this.

yeah franz ferdinand is on a way different level than the bravery or the killers. franz ferdinand actually know how to write songs. they don't just base their career on their sound and appearance.

Why don't you write it with a TextEditor on your PC, and copy/paste it when it's finished here? Plus, you can always edit your review, even if it's already online

Pretty good record. Little bit over-produced and drawn out though. This Message Edited On 06.29.06
