The longest track stretching for just over 100 seconds, For Human Consumption is a kind of
compilation of positive vibes. A melange of (not exhaustively) trip-hop, calypso, afrobeat, French
folk, glitch, J-Pop, synthpop - and kazoo - the resulting mixture is like the soundtrack you never
knew you wanted to a city-roving game you never knew existed. The song lengths perhaps restrict
Ventla a little, but the splatter effect of styles and experimentation on here makes For Human
Consumption a highly worthwhile listen for when you just want to chill out. -
