It's always interesting to hear these "vs." projects, even if they may sometimes be underwhelming. What it entails is two artists coming together with an original song each, and remixing each other's creation. On Four Tet v Pole, Four Tet is the winner here, with his remix of "Heim" being an excellent track, done in a piano-heavy IDM style. Pole's remix of "Cload" is pretty good, being more glitchy and leaning more towards techno. It's nothing all that new or great besides the opener, but it is still pretty cool to see how the artist's respective styles contrast and combine. This was also made very early on in both of their careers, and it showed in small doses the ambition that both artists had for their sounds.
