Gimmicky heavy metal with generous power metal doses similar to that of Manowar. The songwriting fails to catch the listener's attention, the vocals are quite poor and, despite the participation of Bob Katsionis, the guitars fail to impress. Overall, Hail to Fire feels a bit amateurish and its only redeeming feature is its high level of energy.
