Review Summary: Grandma with 67 years old leads the vocals of a grindcore band, and released a record with some great stuff. I never thought in my life that I would write a summary of these in Sputnik ...... but it happened.

If a day in your life, you read a ad on the Internet, saying that a new band of grindcore had emerged in the United States, and in this band, a grandmother with 67 years performes guttural screams with quality? Yes, even after a few months knowing this band, I still remember the moment I read about it, and I laughed quietly thinking that all this is nothing but a satire, or a game of good taste. There is a lot of that in the world of music, right?

But only after I heard the single ''Age Of Destruction'', something inside me already told me that it was not a joke, but serious and great sound quality music. After that, I confess I was really looking forward to the release of the album altogether, even though perhaps could disappoint me, or even impress me enough. Grindcore is a style that requires a very high technical quality, as well as a large body strength to make a record height of perfection, for this type of factor, I decided I would listen to the last second of the disc, for there rather have an opinion about.

After 10 songs, totaling 12 minutes of pure Grindcore, my head and my ears were really impressed, not only with the performance on vocals of this friendly grandma, but also the guitar and drums lines that are very fast, harmonious and contagious. It was clear that I had not heard a masterpiece, but a very well-crafted disk of Grindcore, that worth every second of those few minutes he has. Moreover, it is interesting to say that if I were to lay on the formation of the band, and was listening just to check it, maybe I would never have thought that whoever was dropping fury cries, was a grandmother of 67 years.

''Age Of Destruction'' is a fun drive and very well prepared by Tyson Apex (drums), and Rain Forest (guitar). The songs are very interesting and fast, most are composed of 1 minute. The quality of the instruments stood out on the disk, but it is the voice that really demonstrates the strength of the disc. In addition, the album cover is interesting for the humorous side of the band, since there's no chance to take a cover with a grandmother screaming very seriously, and another side to the band's logo that is very well built.

Come on friends, take 12 minutes of your day to listen quality Grindcore made by a grandmother. Even if you do not believe much that this is possible, the music world always holds interesting moments.

Note: This week the band released a cover of Sepultura, music ''Slave New World'', which is worth checking out.

Not recommend some tracks on this album, because there are only 10 in it.
So listen in his entire, and have good fun.

Nice review, I have a hard time thinking this will be good because I disliked the cover song, but I will give it a go out of curioisity.

@ScuroFantasma

The Sepultura cover is not that good, but "Age Of Destruction" definitely worth a listen.

I admit my inclination is to call it a 4 partly because "omg old woman," but the fact that what seems like a gimmick band made a no-fucking-kidding 3.5* grindcore album is phenomenal. If you just played this for me and said nothing about who was in the band, I'd be like "hell yeah this is some kickass grind."
